Aside from hot and humid lacrosse practice, yesterday was a kickass day. Ellen and Katrina (You might know them as ellesharkie101 and katrinanett) picked me up right after practice and we headed to poles steeple, which is this mountain somewhat close to where we live. We got to the top at the perfect time, right at sunset :) we then proceeded to have a lovely picnic that consisted of pbjs, chips, candy,applesauce, and other good stuff. the chips fell though so we just threw them off the side of the mountain, so that we didn't look like litterbugs. lol. after that we hiked down the mountain and sang songs in order to occupy our minds (it was getting quite dark). then we drove home and ate some wings! i call that a good day/night.
it literally feels like summer right now. i hate it and love it at the same time, and i know that that sounds like it shouldn't make sense, but trust me, it does. I love the weather so so so much. honestly, this is the kind that i live for. but at the same time, it puts my mind in summer mode, and that's not good. we still have 3 months of school left and i just can't focus....i want summer so bad. summer= being able to drive, getting my braces off, going to camp, roadtrips, going to the beach and freedom! I'M PRETTY MUCH STOKED.

hey guysss :) this past weekend has been such a fantastic weekend! i wanna give you guys a recap. On saturday, my friend alex and I went onto the Regionals History Day competition. the judge seriously had like a stick up his ass. he criticized EVERY little thing. but hey guess what?......
WE GOT FIRST :DD biggest shock of my life. i didn't even think we'd make it to the next round. but yeah now we move on to states! I guess it's kinda nerdy, but i'm pretty excited about it. plus its fun dressing like business women. that's probably the best part. lol
Later that day, i went over to my boyfriend's. for christmas, i got him this dvd of 9 really baaad scary movies, like super cheesy and not even funny, so we watched one of those. it was pretty hilarious. then around like 9:30 we decided to go outside for some strange reason. we rode around on his longboard and eventually ended up at this park. then we layed down in the middle of this huge field and looked at the stars. it was kinda sorta really magical. honestly i felt like i should have been in a movie at that moment. we just layed there and talked about everything and kissed under the moonlight. he even said "you look beautiful under the moonlight." when he said it, i laughed and told him that it was so cheesy, but still cute. we giggled about that for a long time. well then it started getting really cold so we headed back home, where we proceeded to watch a random documentary about the guy who plays elmo. it was interesting. we were laying on the couch, falling alseep during it though so i didn't really know everything that was going on. still, it was just so nice. that night was amazing. so spontaneous, playful, carefree, meaningful, relaxed, comfortable, everything. those words embody our relationship too. i find myself falling for him more and more every day and its something i've never experienced before. and even though i'm kind of scared, this is a fear i don't mind so much :)
Soo Sunday, we went to Pittsburg to visit/pick up my cousin from college. we went to this awesome diner (pictured below) that was filled with boardgames. it was so cool. we then went to the museum because my gramps has an obsession with them, but that was pretty fun too. and interesting. i got a glow in the dark dinosaur t-shirt, so i consider that trip a success. :)

I wish we had a mandatory napping class at school because honestly, i feel like teenagers would benefit way more from naps. :P i've just been so tired this week, to the point where everything my teachers say, it comes out as "blaahblhaablhaldlasla...yes crystal, go ahead and go to sleep" haha i wish.

i finally had time to post some pictures. 5 day break, chyyeah.

alright so the update:
-My friend and i got first place at history day for our category!!! you have no idea how excited we were. the day before, we found out that the word limit was 1,200. guess how many words we had? 8,000. yeah, that one hurt. we spent the whole day/night revising and got down to around 3,000. luckily our judge didn't notice that we went over ;) hehe. we're going to the next competition in two weeks.
-Valentine's Day was fantastic. My boyfriend and I went to this little cafe, where we went on our first date. He gave me a picture collage of us, which was really funny because that was one of my gifts to him. guess we just think a like :P plus we went to the park and played tag in the rain like two silly children.
-Yesterday i think i cured my photography block. maybe? i dunno i hope so. before then, i went several weeks without taking one picture i was even the least bit satisfyed with. it's definitely true that without inspiration...you get absolutely nowhere.
-school's been hectic. work work work. nothing new, right? but hey, life's been good, so i can't complain too much. i'm probably the happiest i've been in a long time. how are all of you guys doing?? i hope excellent and wonderful. if not, don't get down about whatever it is that's making your life anything less than that. get out there and try to turn things around! :)

Dawh you guys!!! i've missed you so much. I feel awful, I haven't been on here in like a month. that's the longest ever, and i'm sorry about that. I've just been extremely busy. I've got winterball coming up in a week, and history day the week after. Oh, and we just finished the dreaded midterms. You could say it's been a long couple of weeks.
Plus, I dont know. piczo used to be different when i first got started on here. I remember the first time I came on the site, I was welcomed by stunning photos on the homepage. I was so completely in awe, and inspired by them. and now..yes, there are still some really great pictures but sometimes i wonder why some of the pictures are on there. Don't get me wrong, I think it's awesome that piczo is trying to get people noticed, but, sometimes I feel like that's all piczo's become. One big popularity website. I liked it better when it actually focused on the photography and the words that people had to say.
But, i'm going to continue to keep blogging on here because i do love it a lot. I've made so many friends on piczo, and they've become like my piczo family. Aside from a couple things i'm not really in favor for, piczo is still a cool place, and they've been doing some positive things with the site too. I can't guarantee you that i'll be posting as much as i used to, but i'm definitely not ready to give up piczo. :)

So i've got a story to tell you all! It was friday evening and i'm sitting in Misenos Pizza Shop with my friends Sarah and Alex. All of a sudden, I see these two people run up to the window where we're sitting at. I realize that it's Sarah's boyfriend and my boyfriend. I was so scared at first because like they just popped up out of nowhere. lol. Well anyways, then they hold up these signs saying "Winterball?" Ahhhh. So then Sarah and I are looking at each other stunned. And we both look back at them with 'ehhhh... I don't know.....' faces, (just messing with them though)
By now everyone in the restaurant is starring, and so then they run away! They ran away! Who even does that. They eventually came back though, so it's all good. Until they came back, people kept asking us about it, all curious and stuff, haha. I didn't expect him to ask me because well, we're already together, so it's kind of implied. But hey, no complaints though. It was cute:) I'll be sure to post pictures of winterball next week then!
